KUCHING (Feb 10): More evacuees were allowed to return home Monday afternoon, after another temporary evacuation centre (PPS) was declared closed today.

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in its 4pm update said the Stadium Perpaduan Dalat was declared closed at 2pm today.

There are still 13 active PPS throughout the state, it added.

SDMC said the total number of evacuees still taking refuge at PPS stands at 1,523 individuals from 435 families.
