Yet another hit - 5.0-magnitude quake strikes Myanmar

YANGON (Bernama-Xinhua): A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar at about 10.59 am local time on Friday, the country's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) has reported.

The epicentre, with a depth of 10 kilometres, was located about five miles southeast of Wundwin town in Mandalay region, the report said.  

Earthquake-stricken Myanmar suffered a quake of magnitude 7.7 on March 28, which was one of the strongest in a century, killing 3,645, as it toppled buildings, flattened communities and deprived many of food, water and shelter.
