Johor, Sarawak and Sabah see decline in flood victim numbers

KUALA LUMPUR: The number of flood victims housed at temporary relief centres (PPS) across three states has continued to decline, reaching 2,179 as of 8pm.

In Johor, 1,806 flood victims remain in 20 PPS across five districts. Meanwhile, in Sarawak, 235 victims are taking shelter in three PPS across three districts. In Sabah, 138 flood victims are housed in a single PPS within one district.

The data was provided by the National Disaster Management Agency.

Earlier today, the total number of flood victims still housed in temporary relief centres across the three affected states dropped to 2,803 in the evening, compared to 4,817 in the morning.
